What Are 2021 Regular Decision College Notification Dates?
With the increase in college applications during the pandemic, you seniors probably have been eagerly waiting to hear about your Regular Decision admission results. In the next few weeks we will talk about your different options once you have heard back from colleges about Regular Decision. Hopefully good news is on the way!
In the meantime, we’ve compiled a list of prominent colleges that our students usually apply to and provided their Regular Decision notification dates. Notably, the Ivy League schools have a later notification date than they have had in previous years. Otherwise, you should be receiving information on your application status around the same time as you would expect.

Brown - April 6, 2021 at 7 pm ET
Caltech - Mid-March
Carnegie Mellon University - No later than April 1
Case Western Reserve University - March 27
Columbia - April 6, 2021 at 7 pm ET (same as other Ivies)
Cornell - April 6, 2021 at 7 pm ET (same as other Ivies)
Dartmouth - April 6, 2021 at 7 pm ET (same as other Ivies)
Duke - Late March
Emerson - April 1
Emory - By April 1
Georgetown University - April 1
Harvard - April 6, 2021 at 7 pm ET
Harvey Mudd College - April 1
Johns Hopkins University - By April 1

Most colleges will extend the “test optional” or “test free” policies for Class of 2026 admissions (2021-2022 cycle), including the University of Texas-Austin.
College Board has ended all SAT Subject Tests and will discontinue the SAT Essay after June 2021.
College Board plans on offering AP Exams digitally for the 2021 test period.
